About Me
Jenny Lynn Melendez has been in the medical field for over 30 years and has been an integral part of Dr. Schochet’s practice since the inception of South Florida Colorectal Institute. She has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of a medical practice. She began her career as a Front Office Assistant and excelled at managing the schedule, assisting patients, and numerous other administrative tasks including billing and coding, quickly working her way up to supervisory positions.
As Practice Administrator, Jenny Lynn works closely with all SFLCRI team members, referring physician offices and patients to ensure high-quality output and identify opportunities to streamline operations by utilizing organizational behavior in an effort to encourage business process improvement. She passionately believes in the South Florida Colorectal Institute mission and is a dedicated ally to the LGBTQ community.
Her main focus at South Florida Colorectal Institute is to oversee the daily operations of the office and maintain the highest quality of patient care in a compassionate environment the patients have come to expect from Dr. Schochet.
